What can I report?

In short? Anything that made you feel uncomfortable, icky, humiliated or intimidated. If it’s something you wish hadn’t happened, then Reportd is here for you.

What counts as sexual harassment?

Sexual harassment can be a tricky one, as often we leave thinking, “Did that happen, was that actually something?” As the lines can often seem blurred, we tend to doubt ourselves and our experiences. Not to mention the fact that society today teaches us to downplay these experiences. If you’ve landed here wondering whether your story is ‘serious’ enough, or it warrants reporting, let me assure you that your experience is valid and you deserve to have your voice heard.

This is not the real form! It is an exact copy that mirrors the actual reporting process on our platform, to help you feel more comfortable and informed.

What is Reportd?

Reportd is a platform for anonymously reporting sexual harassment. We provide a safe, anonymous space for you to report when an incident occurs.

Our overarching mission is to live in a world where sexual harassment and sexual violence doesn’t exist. Reportd was developed to:

  1. Provide a place where reports of sexual harassment and sexual violence can be submitted easily and anonymously.

  2. Collect real time data to document and understand the issue of sexual harassment and sexual violence.

  3. Help undo the normalisation of sexual harassment; These incidences should not be an everyday normal occurrence. This behaviour is unacceptable and warrants reporting.

If we are to eradicate sexual harassment and violence, we need to fully understand the extent of the issue. To fully understand the issue, we need to know about it. If we don’t report these incidents, they will always remain hidden and difficult to address. We understand that reporting sexual harassment and sexual violence can be painful, and we don’t take that lightly. By collectively reporting our experiences of sexual harassment and violence, we can shed light on this issue and give ourselves a real chance of making a meaningful impact

Your report will provide much needed data that will help us gain a better understanding of the issue of sexual harassment and violence in Ireland, and will play a direct role in informing action and solutions to address this issue.
